Meet the Staff

Dr. Glenn Thorson

Dr. Glenn Thorson became the owner of the Boston Heights Veterinary Hospital in 1994. He obtained his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1986 from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He worked in Pittsburgh at a 24-hour, ten-doctor hospital from 1986 until 1994. He saw and learned a lifetime of medicine in eight years. After an intense session of hyper-veterinary medicine he settled into Boston Heights. Here he enjoys the family atmosphere of the practice. “We treat every patient and owner like family, and they do the same for us.” Dr. Glenn enjoys knowing the entire family as well as caring for their pets!

Jeff, Hospital Administrator

Jeff joined the Boston Heights Veterinary Hospital in 1990. He earned his degree in communications and business. He worked for many years in a large Cleveland corporate setting specializing in supervision, human resources and cost analysis.

Jeff has resided in Lyndhurst, Ohio for most of his life. He enjoys spending time with his two children, Jessica and Madison, and his grandchildren, Ty and Zoey, who live close to him. Growing up, Jeff always had cats and dogs. He currently shares his home with several rescues, including two cats: three-legged, Stevie Ray, and one-eyed Kenny Wayne, and two dogs: Jake, a golden, and his pal Hanna, an Australian Shepherd mix, who are there to entertain the cats. During his thirty-year tenure, Jeff has strived to make Boston Heights a “family” place to work.

Denise, Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Growing up with dogs, cats, birds, horses and goats, Denise knew from an early age that animals would be a big part of her life.
